RAYMOND BERNARD PICHÉ of Coaldale, loving partner of Sandra Ashcroft, passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2010 at the age of 52 years. He is survived by his father Gerard Piché of Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan, brother Albert Piché (Diana) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, brother Marcel Piché (Kathy) of Rouleau, Saskatchewan, sister Annette Piché (Myk) of Saskatoon, sister Lucie Chevrier (Robert) of Vernon, British Columbia, sister Louise Smith (Bruce) of Whitbey, Ontario, and brother Roland Piché (Donna) of Westbank, British Columbia, as well as his loving children Shaun Piché of Coaldale, Alberta, and Kayla Piché (Brad) of Lethbridge, Alberta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
In 1979 he started his career as a pressman in Regina, and moved to Kelowna in 1987 for greater opportunities in the Okanagan. He remained in the printing business until 2003 when he started a courier business for himself. He followed his dreams for the next three years, living on the water, and living for the moment. When life caught up to him, he moved to Coaldale, Alberta to be closer to his children. He then was employed as a labourer at Maple Leaf Pork, quickly advancing up the corporate ladder.
He influenced many people throughout his life, living by the simple phrase “Live for the Moment.” But he did more than this – he lived to be happy and succeeded with this every day until his death. He will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
Have a safe journey.
Bonne santé à tous! |
