Donna was born in New Westminster, BC on September 4, 1948, later moving to Lethbridge where she was raised. She worked most of her life as a bookkeeper and office manager for Tollestrup Construction, Dueck Excavating and Welling Alfalfa. Donna was a very active member of the Order of the Royal Purple in Lethbridge and was a past District Deputy. She was also a past member of the Coaldale Rotary Club. Donna loved camping, travelling, church events, singing in the choir; as well as being an active member of the Order of the Royal Purple.

Besides her loving husband Frank, Donna is survived by her daughter, Lana (Adam) Midgley and their children Taylor and Mackenzie; son Jon (Lenita) Bracha and their children Ceili and Keira; mother Phyllis Baceda; brother Gary (Joyce) Baceda; sister Rhonda (Rodney) Maxwell and their sons Geoffrey and Corbin; Aunt Margaret Ford; Uncle Merrill Farries and Uncle Frank Baceda; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.

Donna was predeceased by her young son Trenton Ward, her first husband Allen Bracha, and her father John Baceda.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 28, 2010 at 2:00PM, at FIRST UNITED CHURCH, 502-13th Street N, with Reverend Dr. Austin Fennell officiating.

A private family graveside was held in Archmount Cemetery prior to the service.
