A strong woman with a generous heart, Elaine passed away peacefully at the Coaldale Health Care Centre On December 13, 2009, at the age of 69.
Elaine was born in Sudbury, Ontario on April 19, 1940. She married James MacGillis on December 29, 1956. She enjoyed her career as manager at Bell Canada, and spent many happy years living in Alexandria, Balmertown, Thunder Bay, and Kenora, Ontario. Jim and Elaine retired to Coaldale, Alberta in 1996.
Elaine was predeceased by parents Joseph and Beatrice MacDonell, brother Ron, and sister Shirley (Ranney) and is survived by brother Joe, and sister Marlene (Jacque).
She will be sadly missed by loving husband Jim, sons Jamie (Gail) and Brady (Anita), as well as grandchildren Corey, Miranda and Cody.
A Memorial Service will be held for Elaine at a later date. |
