Jack and Margaret Humphrey founded Coaldale Funeral Home Ltd in Coaldale, Alberta in June of 1993 when they moved to the community. Jack obtained his Alberta Funeral Director and Embalmer License in 1983, although he was active in funeral service in Ohio since 1962. He completed two tours of duty in the mortuary in Vietnam from 1967 – 1969. He has been very active in Alberta funeral service, continuing to provide excellent service to families in the Coaldale area. Jack has been a member of the British Institute of Embalmers since 1993, a member of the Alberta Funeral Service Association since 1981, and a charter member of the American Society of Embalmers. Margaret is a member of the Alberta Funeral Service Association and continues her involvement at Coaldale Funeral Home as a funeral director. Jack and Margaret have been married 39 years and have two grown sons.

Jack and Margaret look forward to working with the new faces of the Coaldale Funeral Home and feel they will carry on in providing the caring and compassionate service they have strived for.
